MIRORES CEO to Speak at the 50th International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva
MIRORES is proud to announce that its CEO, Dr. Jakub Ciążela, has been invited to speak at the upcoming 50th International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva, taking place from April 9–13, 2025, at Palexpo, Switzerland.
This milestone event is one of the world’s leading platforms for innovation, bringing together pioneering minds and technologies from around the globe. The European Space Agency (ESA) will be the guest of honor, highlighting space-driven innovations with transformative Earth applications.
MIRORES Featured at the ESA Stand
As part of the exhibition, MIRORES will present its state-of-the-art far-infrared (far-IR) spectrometer at the ESA stand. Originally engineered for planetary exploration, this advanced instrument is now being adapted for terrestrial use through support from the ESA Spark Funding program. The spectrometer is designed to improve resource exploration, mining efficiency, and environmental monitoring, demonstrating how space technologies can deliver value across Earth-based industries.

Title: Far-infrared MIRORES spectrometers: advancing mineral exploration from space to Earth
Dr. Ciążela will discuss how MIRORES is bridging space and terrestrial applications through the integration of remote sensing and geological data. He will introduce the MIRORES IRIS spectrometer, which offers real-time, in-situ spectral analysis of critical minerals such as nickel, cobalt, copper, iron, and platinum group elements (PGEs)—materials essential to the global clean energy transition.
The IRIS technology holds significant promise for automated ore sorting, mining operations, and sustainable resource extraction, reflecting MIRORES’s commitment to advancing innovative solutions that contribute to environmental and economic sustainability.
