Curiosity Never Takes a Break. MIRORES CEO talks geology with young minds as part of summer science series
Even in the summer, curiosity keeps asking questions—and scientists keep answering them. We’re pleased to share that Dr. Jakub Ciążela, CEO of MIRORES, recently appeared as a guest expert on the first episode of the 2025 edition of Letnia Akademia Młodych Umysłów (LAMU)—a special summer podcast series produced by Radio Naukowe.

The episode focused on geology, with Dr. Ciążela answering questions submitted by children, covering topics such as:
- How is amber formed?
- Why do we find amber on the beach and not in the mountains?
- What happens to insects trapped in amber?
By translating complex Earth science topics into engaging, age-appropriate explanations, Dr. Ciążela contributed to the broader goal of science communication and public engagement—inspiring the next generation of scientists, explorers, and critical thinkers.
The LAMU series, led by science journalist and podcaster Karolina Głowacka, is designed to promote scientific thinking in young listeners and encourage curiosity in everyday life. This episode shows how accessible, informal science learning can spark real interest and excitement—even during summer holidays.
