We were delighted to take part in the „Wieczory dla dorosłych. Odkrywa Samsung – Odyseja kosmiczna” event organized by the Copernicus Science Centre (Centrum Nauki Kopernika) on October 25th.

The lecture „Lecimy na Marsa” (Let’s Fly to Mars) was delivered by Dr. Natalia Zalewska, planetologist at the Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences (CBK PAN) and co-founder of MIRORES.

Dr. Zalewska explored how the Red Planet has long inspired our imagination and remains one of the most studied objects in the Solar System. Recently, NASA announced that a rock sample collected by the Perseverance rover may contain potential traces of ancient microbial life — a discovery that brings us closer to answering some of humanity’s biggest questions.
During the talk, participants learned more about Mars’ surface, atmosphere, and geology, as well as the risks and challenges of future crewed missions. When will humans finally set foot on Mars? 👣

„Wieczory dla dorosłych. Odkrywa Samsung” events are organized in cooperation with Samsung Electronics Polska
– the strategic partner of the Copernicus Science Centre.

A heartfelt thank-you to CNK and Samsung for an inspiring evening dedicated to cosmic discovery and curiosity!
