The highly competitive MilTech Pitch Day concluded with a significant victory for the MIRORES team. Out of 322 competing projects, MIRGUARD was recognized as one of the top 13 innovative technologies invited to join the prestigious acceleration program organized by Akces NCBR in cooperation with the Ministry of National Defence (Ministerstwo Obrony Narodowej).
The program focuses on dual-use technologies that enhance national security while maintaining high potential for civilian commercialization. MIRGUARD was selected for its strategic value and technical maturity after a presentation to a panel of military and industry experts.
The MIRGUARD advantage: precision in all conditions – during the pitch, Jakub Ciążela demonstrated how our technology addresses critical gaps in thermal monitoring and sensor stability:
- Environmental auto-calibration – the system utilizes specific water-sensitive channels as a reference to estimate atmospheric states in real-time.
- Radiometric stability – by performing instant corrections, MIRGUARD ensures accurate results even in rapidly changing weather conditions.
- Operational reliability – this stabilization significantly reduces false alarms caused by radiometric drift and environmental interference.
